Sony has officially announced the launch of new Xperia Series smartphones Xperia E and Xperia E Dual. Both smartphone feature similar specifications except, Xperia E Dual supports Dual sim.
Sony Xperia E runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and Xperia E dual runs on Android 4.0 ICS OS out of box but it will be upgraded to the Jelly Bean OS.
Sony Xperia E Dual

Sony Xperia E sports 3.5 inch capacitive  touch screen with HVGA screen resolution. It is powered by 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A chipset and 512MB RAM. The device comes with 3.15MP primary camera but no front facing camera. Internal storage capacity is 4GB in that 2.2GB is user available. Xperia E and E Dual supports microSD card memory expansion upto 32GB.
Sony Xperia E is powered by 1530 mAh battery which is according Sony will provide 6 hours of talk time and 530 hours of standby time on 3G.  The rated Music playback time  is 30 hours and video playback time is 8 hours.
Sony Xperia E will be available in  black, white and pink colors in other hand Xperia  E Dual will be available in Black and Gold only. Both these Xperia smartphones will be launching on early next year and price details are not yet revealed.
