Sony has launched its new flasgship model Sony Xperia Z to the Indian consumers. The smartphone will hit the stores from March 12. The price of Sony Xperia Z is set to ₹38,990.
Sony Xperia Z was first showcased in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013. It is a IP55 and IP57 certified, making it water and dust resistant and features a full glass exterior. The device is is 7.9mm thin and weighs 149 grams. It has a 2,330mAh battery under the hood.
The most eye catching features of this Sony Flagship smartphone is its display screen. The Xperia Z has 5 inch display screen with a screen resolution of 1920*1080 which results in a massive 440 ppi pixel density. Currently in Indian market, only HTC Butterfly offers a full HD display screen.
The Sony Xperia Z is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with a built in storage of 16GB. Xperia Z sports a 13MP primary camera and 2MP front facing camera.
